Shipment tracking system with live ETA and driver communication
Netorigo shipment tracking runs on live GPS, dynamic ETA updates and end-to-end customer communication. The driver app handles the current tour, task list and POD; the customer follows their parcel on a dedicated portal; the anomaly detector flags delays or deviations automatically — from last-mile to international freight.
What it does
How people use it
City logistics
A city courier dispatches 800 parcels a day with 12 drivers and 30-minute time windows. Netorigo shipment tracking recalculates ETAs live from traffic data, and the recipient gets a 15-minute window via SMS — failed delivery rates drop materially.
Last-mile delivery
A last-mile provider delivers e-commerce orders same-day, with evening drops. The system sends a shareable tracking link to the customer, the driver app closes each parcel with a POD signature, and on a failed delivery the customer reschedules the next attempt themselves.
International freight
An international carrier ships across 6 countries with customs borders and multilingual customer comms. Netorigo TMS records border crossings as automatic status events, and the customer portal renders tracking milestones in the customer’s language — one system, from origin to destination.
Cold-chain transport
A refrigerated carrier moves food and pharma where temperature monitoring is mandatory. The system reads the cargo bay live via telematics sensors, alerts the dispatcher on any anomaly and exports the full cold-chain log to audit in one click.
Frequently asked
What GPS devices does the system support?
Two paths are supported: the driver app sends position from the phone GPS (no extra hardware), or in-vehicle telematics units (Webfleet, Verizon Connect, Geotab, Teltonika) push the data. Both are supported out of the box and can be combined.
Can the customer track their parcel in real time?
Yes. Every shipment gets a unique, shareable tracking link showing the vehicle on a map, the live ETA and the last 3 milestones. Sent via SMS, email or WhatsApp — fully branded as your own.
What exactly does the driver see and do in the app?
Drivers see stops in tour order with one-tap navigation to their preferred map app. Every stop is closed with a POD signature and/or photo proof. They can flag a failed delivery, upload an incident photo, and the tour auto-closes at end of shift.
How does SLA monitoring and anomaly detection work?
Each order carries an SLA rule set (lead time, temperature threshold, route compliance). The system measures these continuously; on a breach it sends an instant email/SMS/Slack alert and surfaces the breach with a likely root-cause category in the report.
