DevOps platform with CI/CD pipelines and an AI incident assistant

NIP Platform’s DevOps layer brings the full delivery chain onto one control plane: a pipeline builder (Tekton- and Argo Workflows-based), secret management (HashiCorp Vault integration), a private container registry (Harbor), security scanning (Trivy, Grype) and an AI incident assistant. The AI learns the “normal” pattern from log and metric history, and within minutes of a post-deploy incident it produces a probable-root-cause list and a postmortem draft. Vendor migration is closed off at the manifest layer — open standards throughout.

What it does

Pipeline builder (Tekton + Argo Workflows), YAML and visual editor
Secret management with HashiCorp Vault integration
Private container registry (Harbor) with replication
Security scanning: image (Trivy), runtime (Falco), SBOM
AI-assisted incident response: probable root cause in minutes
Postmortem assistant: draft and timeline generation
Multi-team RBAC and tenant-level isolation

How people use it

Dev team productivity

A 40-engineer organisation ran on three CI tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI) — scattered secrets, scattered audit, slow onboarding. NIP Platform’s DevOps layer consolidates teams onto one pipeline builder, and the deploy-on-merge pattern rolls out to everyone within a week.

SRE on-call load reduction

A 4-person SRE team finds 60% of overnight on-calls are “within 30 minutes of a deploy”. NIP’s AI incident assistant pinpoints the offending change within minutes from deploy history and runtime metrics — MTTR drops meaningfully and SREs are better rested.

Compliance audit (SOC 2, ISO 27001)

A SOC 2 audit asks every year: who deployed what when, which secrets were accessed, which security scans ran. NIP Platform’s DevOps layer stores all of this in the audit log, and a CSV export hands the auditor 12 months of data. Audit prep shrinks from weeks to days.

Multi-team platform

In an enterprise IT shop 15 product teams work in parallel. NIP Platform’s DevOps layer gives tenant-level isolation: every team owns its pipelines, registry namespace and secret store, while the platform team enforces shared policy — control and autonomy at once.

Frequently asked

Does it integrate with GitHub Actions or GitLab CI?

Yes — both are supported: NIP Platform’s DevOps layer can act as a runner for existing GitHub Actions or GitLab CI workflows so you don’t have to rewrite them. For new projects we recommend the native Tekton + Argo Workflows pipeline, because the NIP audit log and AI troubleshoot are tuned to it.

What secret store does it use?

Native secret management is built on HashiCorp Vault integration with envelope encryption and per-tenant policy. Alternatively AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault and Google Secret Manager integrations are available — developers reference them all with the same SecretRef.

How does the AI incident assistant learn?

The AI learns from your own workload’s deploy history, runtime metrics (Prometheus), logs (Loki) and incident notes — so every client gets an isolated model with no cross-tenant data sharing. The “normal” pattern is built up in the first 2-3 weeks, after which root-cause hints land in the 60-80% accuracy range.

If we ever switch, how do we migrate away?

Because NIP Platform’s DevOps layer is built on open standards (Tekton, Argo, OCI registry, Trivy, Vault, Prometheus, Grafana), migration is a manifest-level operation. Pipeline definitions live in YAML, images move to any upstream OCI registry and secrets migrate over the Vault protocol — no proprietary lock-in.
